All purchases made through the Service are subject to this Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection legislation, including EU Directive 2011/83/EU, UK consumer legislation, Australian Consumer Law, or other mandatory consumer-protection laws. Where applicable law grants greater protection, applicable law prevails.

General Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital services, purchases are generally non-refundable except:

  • Where required by law;
  • Where the Service failed to function as described;
  • Where a technical issue prevented use of the purchased functionality;
  • Where we determine, at our sole discretion, that a refund is appropriate.

How to request a refund

Email support@astroway.guru with your account email, date of purchase, description of the issue, and supporting evidence where available. Requests are normally reviewed within 5–10 business days and approved refunds processed within 10–14 business days.

Digital Services and Document Processing

The Service provides digital document-processing functionality, including file conversion, PDF tools, OCR, translation, AI-assisted analysis, summarisation, information extraction, document editing, and other digital processing services.

By uploading a document and initiating processing, you expressly request immediate performance of the digital service. Where permitted by applicable law, once processing has begun and the requested digital service has been performed, your statutory right of withdrawal may no longer apply.

This does not affect any rights you may have relating to defective services, misrepresentation, unauthorised transactions, or other mandatory consumer protections.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be provided in the following circumstances:

Change of Mind

  • You no longer wish to use the Service;
  • The Service did not meet personal preferences or expectations;
  • You found an alternative product.

Successful Service Delivery

  • A document was successfully processed, converted, or analysed;
  • A summary, translation, OCR result, or other output was successfully generated;
  • The requested service was completed as described.

Failure to Cancel Subscription

Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable if renewal terms were disclosed during checkout and the subscription was not cancelled before the renewal date.

User Error

Including uploading the wrong file, selecting the wrong conversion type, entering incorrect information, or misunderstanding product functionality that was accurately described before purchase.

Subscriptions

By purchasing a subscription, you authorise recurring billing using your selected payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@astroway.guru. To avoid charges for the next billing period, cancellation should be completed before the renewal date.

Cancellation prevents future billing but does not automatically generate a refund for previous charges. Unless required by applicable law, subscription fees already charged are non-refundable.

EU / UK Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have the right to withdraw from certain purchases within 14 days without giving any reason, subject to applicable law.

However, for digital content and digital services: by initiating document processing, conversion, OCR, translation, summarisation, AI analysis, extraction, or similar functionality, you:

  1. Expressly request immediate performance of the service;
  2. Acknowledge that the service begins immediately;
  3. Understand that your right of withdrawal may be lost once the service has been fully performed, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This does not affect any rights you may have regarding defective services, unauthorised transactions, or other mandatory consumer protections.

For subscription plans where no processing has occurred, the 14-day withdrawal right applies in full. Contact us at support@astroway.guru to exercise this right.

Technical Issues

If the Service fails to perform substantially as described due to a technical issue attributable to us, you may be eligible for re-processing of the document, service credits, extension of subscription access, a partial refund, or a full refund. The appropriate remedy will be determined after review. We reserve the right to attempt to resolve the issue before issuing a refund.

Unauthorised Transactions

If you believe a charge was unauthorised, contact us immediately at support@astroway.guru. We may request additional information to verify the claim. Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under applicable payment-services or consumer-protection laws.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your payment provider, we encourage you to contact us directly — many issues can be resolved quickly through customer support.

You will not be penalised for raising legitimate concerns regarding:

  • Unauthorised transactions;
  • Services not provided;
  • Material billing errors;
  • Significant failures of the Service.

Where a payment processor determines that a chargeback was fraudulent or abusive, we reserve the right to suspend the account, restrict future purchases, terminate access to the Service, or recover associated costs where permitted by law.

Refund Method and Processing Time

Approved refunds will generally be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Refund timing may depend on payment provider policies and card issuer processing times — typically 10–14 business days after approval. We are not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions or payment providers.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights under EU, UK, Australian, or other applicable consumer protection legislation. Those rights always take precedence.
